ND Brewers Guild presents Oktoberfest

The North Dakota Brewers Guild chose Minot for their inaugural Oktoberfest that will be taking place tonight. Each year, the guild plans to host a yearly Oktoberfest celebration in a different city.

The event in Minot will take place today at the Clarion Hotel & Convention Center from 5-9 p.m. It will be completely inside and safe from the cold and possible snow.

Celebrate Oktoberfest with beer samplings from breweries around the state, pretzel necklaces and light German-inspired appetizers. Attendees will crown the first-ever North Dakota Brewers Guild Best Beer Award.

Tickets for the event are $40 in advance and $45 at the door. The ticket price includes beer sampling, pretzel necklaces and appetizers. There is a special Designated Driver ticket available for $20 for those attending and providing a safe ride home. These tickets will be available at the door only.

Breweries that are confirmed to be at the Oktoberfest celebration include: Atypical Brewery & Barrelworks (Minot), Bismarck Brewing, Black Leg Brewery (McKenzie), Buffalo Commons Brewing Company (Mandan), Drekker Brewing Company (Fargo), Fargo Brewing Company, Half Brothers Brewing Company (Grand Forks), Kilstone Brewing (Fargo), Laughing Sun Brewing (Bismarck), Phat Fish Brewing (Dickinson), Souris River Brewing (Minot) and Stonehome Brewing Co.
