MSU Symphony Orchestra hosts Coffee with the Conductor

The Minot Symphony Orchestra will host coffee and conversation with Maestro Efrain Amaya on Saturday, Aug. 24. The event will be held at Broadway Bean and Bagel, located at 1701 S. Broadway, from 1-3 p.m.

Be the first to hear what Maestro Amaya has planned for the upcoming 94th season of the symphony. Learn about the works to be performed, soloists and collaborations. Patrons will have an opportunity to purchase season tickets and register for door prizes.

This event is free and open to the public. Broadway Bean and Bagel will be open for purchase of food and drinks during the event.

The symphony’s 2019-2020 season includes six public performances: Oct. 12, Nov. 16, Dec. 14, Feb. 8, March 7 and April 25. Season tickets and the new six-concert flex passes are available at www.minotsymphony.com or by calling the box office at 858-4228. Single concert tickets will be available in September.

Principal cellist Erik Anderson will continue a pre-concert talk on concert nights. Anderson provides an engaging overview of the works being performed, talks about the story behind the music, the composer and historical context.
