Motor Magic returns to the Magic City

The largest motorsports event in the Upper Midwest is back on for its 21st year in a row at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds. Motor Magic will be held Labor Day weekend (today to Sunday) providing entertainment for auto enthusiasts of all ages.

The Magic City International Dragway will kick off the motor mayhem with drag racing on Friday as well as additional races on Saturday and Sunday. Nodak Speedway is providing a free All-Star Race on Friday with Dirt Track Racing on Saturday and Sunday. Motor enthusiasts can also visit the Dakota Cruisers Car Show on Saturday and Sunday.

Aside from these races and car show, attendees can bid on more than 100 classic cars at the Motor Magic Classic Car Auction or visit the Historic Military Vehicle Display. Fairgrounds’ favorite Daryl’s Racing Pigs will cross the finish line for everyone to watch. There will also be Go-Karts, RC Racing and over 20 vendor booths in the State Fair Center.

Admission to the North Dakota State Fairgrounds is free with major events priced separately. RV reservations start at just $20 a night with 30 amp electricity included. For more information and a full schedule of events, visit www.motormagic.net/.
