Rising star and country music sensation Easton Corbin plans to celebrate the new year at the 4 Bears Casino Event Center on Dec. 30, at 7 p.m.
The three-time American Country Award winning artist looks forward to entertaining audiences with his two No. 1 singles “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It”.
Hailing from Florida, Corbin is excited to give a thrilling performance for his North Dakota fans.
“I love North Dakota,” Corbin said. “The fans are really great and I love the military community of North Dakota as well. I’m happy to have the chance to be here and share the new year with everyone.”
Throughout the country music landscape, Corbin is celebrated for his heartfelt vocals and honest approach to songwriting.
“The most important thing is to know who you are,” Corbin said. “It’s important not to bend so you can follow a trend. The guys who stick to what they do and refuse to be somebody else usually follow their dreams.”
During Corbin’s 4 Bears performance, audiences can anticipate a night of soulful singing, lively guitaring and an intimate concert experience with a gifted storyteller.
“Part of the concert experience is showing everyone who I am,” Corbin said. “I really open myself up to the audience and give my best to give everyone a good time. I hope I can help people forget their worries for a little bit and entertain them.”
Songs of romance, pursuing passions and being true to one’s self has catapulted Corbin to country music stardom.
Sharing the journey with Corbin are songwriters Wade Kirby and Carson Chamberlain.
Corbin credits Chamberlain and Kirby as good friends and influences of his craft.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity to write with such creative people,” Corbin said. “Anytime you’re with those caliber of writers, it’s a huge learning experience because they mastered their craft. It’s an awesome opportunity being friends with those guys and have a family who is honest with you. Sometimes you don’t want to hear the truth but that’s when honesty is most important.”
Along with using his voice to create music, Corbin also is a proud supporter of Future Farmers of America.
“FFA is great organization that does wonderful things for young people by helping them grow up to be responsible adults,” Corbin said. “Farming is pretty special and close to my heart. My grandparents farmed full time and I believe that farmers are the backbone of this country. I think we should help farmers as much as we can because farming families are kind of dwindling. It can be hard making a living unless you’re with a corporation and I think we need to help the family farmers as much as can.”
When Corbin isn’t strumming the guitar and writing his next single, the country star enjoys hunting and participating with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
“I love the outdoors, it’s one of my favorite past times” Corbin said. “The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is important because they help to conserve elk for future generations to enjoy it like we do.”
From supporting farmers to writing hit songs, Corbin’s key to success is rooted in honesty and pursuing his passion.
“My goals are the force that drives me,” Corbin said. “If you have a dream and it’s something that you really love, you should go for it. It’s better to go for that dream and not make it than to spend the rest of your life wondering what could’ve been.”
