ND's oil, natural gas production increases

BISMARCK – North Dakota's oil and natural gas production increased in March, according to the Director's Cut presented Friday, May 22, by Mark Bohrer, assistant director of the North Dakota Oil and Gas Division. Bohrer said the state produced 1.142 million barrels of oil a day in March, an increase of 0.81% from February, for a total production of 35.4 million barrels of oil in March. He said the majority of the oil production (97.3%) is from the Bakken/Three Forks formations.
