According to the North Dakota Department of Transportation, the campaign focused on increasing seat belt use and encouraging personal responsibility to reduce serious injuries and fatalities on North Dakota roads. A 73 year old Minot man driving an UTV sustained fatal injuries in a crash with a passenger car on U.S. Highway 2 on the east side of Minot on Tuesday, June 16, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol. The Highway Patrol reported a 2022 Can Am Maverick X3 UTV took the wrong way down an off-ramp and then traveled westbound in the eastbound lane of Highway 2.
