Corps waives fees over holiday
OMAHA, Neb. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has announced it is waiving day-use fees July 3-5 at its more than 2,800 USACE-operated recreation areas nationwide in support of America’s 250th anniversary celebration. The waiver applies to boat launch ramps and swimming beaches at USACE-operated recreation areas. Camping fees, camping-related services, group picnic shelters and other specialized facilities are not included in the fee waiver.
