Fort Stevenson State Park to hold Oktober Family Fest

GARRISON – Fort Stevenson State Park will welcome the fall season with Oktober Family Fest on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 4-8 p.m., featuring vibrant entertainment and a taste of German tradition. The public is invited to attend this family-friendly event, which will include authentic German flavors, polka music by Kuchen County and axe throwing games. The park charges a $7 vehicle entrance fee unless a current North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department annual pass is displayed. Fort Stevenson State Park is located three miles south of Garrison, North Dakota.

Minot library’s Sweater Weather Reading Challenge kicks off

The Minot Public Library will celebrate the start of its 2024-2025 Sweater Weather Reading Challenge on Thursday, Sept. 26. Walk to End Alzheimer’s to fund local activities, set for Oak Park Sept. 21

The Alzheimer’s Association is inviting area residents to take part in its Walk to End Alzheimer’s Minot on Saturday, Sept. 21. The family-friendly event will be held in Oak Park.
