Crary woman dies in rollover crash

CRARY – A 29-year-old woman from Crary died in a one-vehicle rollover crash on U.S. Highway 2, about two miles southeast of Crary on Sunday. A juvenile female passenger was not injured.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol said the woman, driving a Lincoln Navigator, was going west on the highway when the vehicle entered the median, rolled, crossed the eastbound lanes, continued rolling and came to rest in the south ditch. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred about 9:52 p.m.

The driver and passenger were not wearing seat belts, according to the Highway Patrol.

The crash remains under investigation by the N.D. Highway Patrol.
