Majettes golf ties for fourth at Dickinson Invite

SOUTH HEART — After working through a balmy Dickinson Invite at Pheasant Country Golf Course in South Heart, the Minot High School girls golf team finished in a two-way for fourth place. Minot and Legacy posted 354 points apiece.

Century (335), Mandan (345) and Bismarck High (347) earned the top three positions. Century’s Hannah Herbel posted a 74 and claimed individual medalist honors.

Minot senior Bella Dobrinski paced the Majettes with a team-best 81. Seniors Savanah Brintnell (84) and Taryn Trueblood (86) contributed scoring rounds for Minot.

“Bella Dobrinski navigated the course wisely today to put herself in a good position to score well on each hole,” MHS head coach Scott Foltz said.

In her varsity debut, Minot sophomore Mackenzie Strange shot a 93. Freshman Cali Wilson (99) and senior Sydni Gartner (101) also golfed for the Majettes.

Minot will participate in the Legacy Invite at 10 a.m. next Tuesday at Riverwood Golf Course.
