MLS GBB’s Leah Feland signs with Bismarck State College
On the heels of a historic career with the Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood girls basketball team, Leah Feland signed a National Letter of Intent with Bismarck State College.
Feland scored 1,740 points and grabbed 585 rebounds as a Maverick. She also converted on 611 of her 1,229 field goal attempts (49.7%).
Her accolades included two nominations to the Class B All-State Second Team, District 12 Senior Athlete of the Year and Region 6 Senior Athlete of the Year.
This season, Feland averaged 19.4 points per game and shot 52% from the field. The Mavericks finished 22-3 on the season and earned a District 12 Tournament championship.
Upon graduation, Feland will join a loaded BSC recruiting class. Katherine Fox (Parshall), Kella Norby (Trenton) and Feland will add local talent to the Mystics.
