FARGO — The best wrestlers from around the region gathered at the annual Rumble on the Red wrestling tournament held at the Fargodome for two days of intense action this weekend.

New Prague (Minn.) won the prestigious tournament with 146 points and six placewinners. Minot High took 19th with 60 points. Bishop Ryan slotted into 25th with 47 points.

The Magicians came away with three placewinners: Trevon McClanahan (145, second), Kelby Armstrong (126, sixth) and Chase Burke (160, seventh).

The Lions sent three wrestlers and ended up with two placewinners: Corbin Okeson (182, second) and Keegan Henjum (285, fifth).

Minot has a road dual against Jamestown next on Jan. 9. Ryan is also back in action on Jan. 9 with a Triangular home dual against Des Lacs-Burlington and Williams County.
