Magi golf takes first at West Region golf meet
DUNSEITH – The Minot High School boys golf team enforced its will on Tuesday, claiming first as a team at the West Region golf tournament at Garden Gate.
Minot finished with a team score of 314. Century took second place with a 325, and Jamestown ended up in third place with a 346.
Individually, the Magicians had four golfers finish with Top 5 scores. Freshman Peyton Bartsch led the charge with a third-place finish and a score of 77 to tie with Century’s Dylan Nosbusch. Junior Jack Demke, senior Otto Langhans and sophomore Gavin Argent all tied for fifth with a score of 79.
With yet another strong showing the books, the Magi shift their focus to the Class A boys state golf meet at Edgewood Golf Course in Fargo from next Tuesday to Wednesday.
