The Gymagic facility in Minot hosted its first West Region Meet Friday with two athletes representing the Minot High School Majettes. Bella Price and Makenna Gress competed for individual honors as the Majettes didn’t have enough athletes to place as a team.

She also placed in the top five in vault (third, 9.375) and beam (fourth, 9.175). Price scored a 7.775 on the bars to take 16th.

Gress performed her best routines of the season in beam, vault and floor. On the bars, Gress took 15th with a 7.925. Her other scores included a 8.125 in vault, 7.500 on the beam and 7.800 on the floor for a combined 31.350 and tying for 21st in all around.

The Majettes will travel to Jamestown Friday, Feb. 22, for the state meet. The meet will begin at 4 p.m. at Jamestown High School.
