Recent additions to CHI St. Alexius in Minot

Dr. Koyejo Oyerinde is a pediatrician at Medical Plaza in Minot. He is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria. He completed his residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in Bronx, New York.

As a pediatrician, Dr. Oyerinde has particular interest in the wholesome growth and development of children. He enjoys seeing a diverse population of children.

He is board certified in pediatric medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of it sections on the International Child Health and on Tobacco Control.

Lindsey Siemens, a physician assistant in family medicine at Medical Plaza Minot, earned her bachelor of science in nursing at Medcenter One College of Nursing in Bismarck and a master of physician assistant studies at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.

As a physician assistant, she works with a variety of patients and has particular interest in women’s health.

Siemens is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Kayla Thomas, a family nurse practitioner at Medical Plaza Minot, earned a bachelor of science in nursing at Minot State University and a master of science in nursing, family nurse practitioner at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.

As a family nurse practitioner, Thomas works with patients of all ages, from newborn to elderly. She has particular interest in women’s and children’s health.

She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses.

Dr. Promila Timothy, a specialist in family medicine at Medical Plaza Minot, earned her medical degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Sint Maarten. She completed her residency in family medicine at Providence Hospital and Medical Center in Southfield, Mich. She completed a fellowship in Addiction at Brighton Hospital in Brighton, Mich.

As a family physician, Timothy provides patient centered care and focuses on healthy living and prevention of illnesses. She has particular interest in chronic illnesses including hypertension, diabetes and cardiovascular disorders.

Timothy is a board certified diplomate in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and in addiction medicine by the American Board of Addiction Medicine. She is a member of the Association of American Medical Colleges, American Society of Addiction Medicine, American Academy of Family Physicians and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

Sharon Wright, a nurse at Medical Plaza Minot, earned a bachelor of science in nursing at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in Oshkosh, Wis. and a master of science at Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wis.

As an adult nurse practitioner, Wright works with adult and elderly patients evaluating, diagnosing and managing common, acute and chronic health problems. She has a particular interest in stroke and heart disease prevention and lipid management.

She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of the American Nurses Association.
