SRT Communications announced recently that Deanna Klein has been appointed to the SRT Board of Directors for District 4, representing Minot, Burlington and Surrey.
As an associate professor of Business Information Technology at Minot State University, Klein brings a wealth of expertise and experience to SRT. Klein also served as a Public Relations and Academic Liaison for the InfoTech-Minot Technology Center, had articles related to online education published in Issues in Information Systems and other academic publications, and presented at conferences around the world on technology and education.
"We are happy to select such a talented individual who has an impressive background in technology," said Tom Wentz Jr., board president, in a press release. "Our board is a cross-section of the communities we serve, and I know that Deanna has a strong understanding of the changing needs of our members that will serve the cooperative well."
"I'm really looking forward to working with the Board and everyone at SRT," Klein said in the release. "It's an exciting time in the world of telecommunications and an exciting time to be in North Dakota, and I'm thrilled to be part of a cooperative leading the way in this industry and this state."
Klein replaces Susan K. Schmutzler who recently moved out of District 4.
