Kathleen "Kathy" Marie Lozensky, 51, Rugby, formerly of Minot, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013, in a Rugby medical center.
Kathy was born Feb. 17, 1962, at Minot, the daughter of Steven and Donna (Fuller) Lozensky. She was raised and educated in Minot and attended the Headquarters Hair Academy, where she received her hairstyling license.
Throughout the years, she was employed at the Headquarters Salon, Schatz Crossroads and ReStore. She had recently moved to Rugby and was living with her fiance and lifetime partner, Carl Maddox. Kathy was a caring, loving and generous person with a forgiving heart. She loved to decorate her home, play pinochle and care for animals.
Her loving family includes: fiance, Carl Maddox, of Dunseith; sisters, Reta Thom, Rugby, Julie (Roger) Hovey, Seattle; along with a number of nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Daniel.
Funeral service: Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at 1 p.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Minot.
Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.
Visitation: Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 3 to 7 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers or plants, the family prefers memorials.
