EAGLES WINGS COMMUNITY FELLOWSHIP BACK IN CHURCH BUILDING ?The congregation of Eagles Wings Community Fellowship has returned to its church facility at 1500-2nd Ave. SW in Minot after making flood repairs.
The Rev. Travis Hovde said the church has a ways to go to complete renovation on its building, including its sanctuary, but was able to hold its first service in the building since the flood on Nov. 25. He said a dedication ceremony is expected to take place next summer once the renovations are completed.
ADVENT TEA PLANNED IN GRANVILLE An Advent Tea will be held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in First Lutheran Church, Granville.
The event, which is open to the public, will include entertainment, food and fellowship.
BREAKFAST SCHEDULED IN MINOT CHURCH Our Lady of Grace Knights of Columbus, assisted by parish youth, will serve a breakfast of French toast, pancakes, sausage and eggs Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the lower level of the church at 707-16th Ave. SW. The event is planned to welcome new parishioners.

A freewill offering will be received. Proceeds of the breakfast will be for the acquisition of an ultrasound machine for Dakota Hope Clinic, a Minot area pregnancy help center.
FIRST BAPTIST XYZ TO MEET THURSDAY First Baptist Church XYZ, a senior adult ministry for people in the 50-plus age group, will meet Thursday at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church, 200-3rd St. SW.
David and Helen McCormack will present the program "Christmas Praises with an International Flavor." They serve with Wycliffe Translators at the Black Forest Academy in Germany.
Refreshments will be served. People are asked to bring a plate of Christmas goodies to share.
