FUND-RAISING BANQUET SET FOR CRISIS PREGNANCY CENTER A fund-raising banquet for Dakota Hope Clinic, a crisis pregnancy center coming to Minot in 2013, will be held Oct. 4 in the Grand International Inn Ballroom.
Pam Stenzel, an internationally known speaker, will be presenting. Born to a rape victim, Stenzel was adopted into a family with several other adopted children. She became director of a crisis pregnancy center, where her experiences taught her that before teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease rates could decline, attitudes of teens toward sex first had to change. Desiring to bring about that change, she started speaking full-time.
Banquet doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:45 p.m. To reserve a seat, please call 852-6755 or email firstname.lastname@example.org by Sept. 28. The event is co-sponsored by North Dakota Family Alliance.
