You contradict yourself. Items are to be maintained and yet you see the need to replace a structure that was destroyedor badly damaged by the flood. It would seem to me that wanting to preserve our history should be your number one objective. Not takng advantage of the offer for free land and assistance with moving away from the river will be viewed as your greatest mistake by future generations.
