I recognize your power of personality. Not worried for myself but people after me. I've never been more disappointed with current events. People don't seem concerned that the entitlements we have now are not sustainable and now we've added another.

ndvetrn, any fact I can post is not the issue. It's because I made the post.

As you can see, it's the power of my personality that gets me all my accolades, or lack thereof.

Come now, Dust.....I had been asking my buddy Rugby those questions for many eons now......but I now realize he could not move forword if he had to answer them. I feel we must bury the past with him, but still allow him to collect those many good gifts for his military service....whatever, and whyever, it was.....

We must learn that all gifts are good...... and that there is never enough debt. As debt DOES make us a prosperous country.

Thank goodness for wiki...

"A United States military occupation code, or a Military Occupational Specialty code (MOS code), is a nine character code used in the United States Army and United States Marines to identify a specific job. In the United States Air Force, a system of Air Force Specialty Codes (AFSC) is used. In the United States Navy, a system of naval ratings and designators is used along with the Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) system."

Now I don't feel left out...

MOS must be an army term. I wasn't in the army. If you ask me what my rating was I could tell you but probably not.

I am glad we have come together in our Congress and Senate, to now ONLY pass 'clean' bills.....

Please be thankful of that and make sure our legislators do continue what our Democrat Party started....clean legislation. Don't even let our Democrat Party stray from it now....

Perhaps, RR, that phrase of yours I repeated was satirical?

If so, I apologize for thinking you meant it.

RR: "The insight "they" give us into their world shows one of lies, hate, racism, and possibly homogay trysts."

Sure, RR, this passes the litmus test...

RR, I could try to take you more seriously if you stopped with your "satire" pieces.

I know, I know. It doesn't matter what I think.

Veritas and Whistler, that was some mighty interesting repartee, if you want to call it that...

How's that for even-handed? Not that I'd ever want to offend either of you...

"...each year in our U.S. 45,000 people die for lack of medical care. they can,t afford it. 100,000 more die from the wrong medication. we can do better."

Newsflash: ALL in the US will die at some point, regardless of a one-or-more-payer health care system, the best drugs on the planet, or equal access for everyone, rich or poor.

"We can do better" means what exactly?

"loco: alcohol is create competition in oil/gas because they have too much control."

Ethanol wreaks havoc on small engines. Blended fuels are only good for 30 days. Do consumers know this fact, as it becomes increasingly difficult to get unblended gasoline in ND? This mandate has not brought only good results. Look it up...

First of all, starrett, how do you know that he went back for the money. Was he looking for the four million dollars that Bush left on that plane over there? Do they get paid that much more to go back? Did you go over and participate in the war effort? Who are you to judge. So, Rugby blogs on other networks? Well, you must too. So what. He is entitled to his opinion of the war. I don't like it either especially the lies that were told to get us there. So what?

No liberal objections to my questions must mean I'm right to place the responsibility squarely on the acting President of the United States. If any would like to dispute this please do so.

nam and iraq were questioned by many. he is outspoken but a vet--ok by me. those who questioned iraq were all proven right. my point is the errors of B2 and cheney on iraq far outweigh kerry's stupid behavior.

starette: while in college 66-71, any morning some guy is gone--over there. 6 months to 2 years later he is back. some physically ok some permanently damaged, some in a casket. many ran and hid. the thought of going to that*****was so scary that many vets did not look down on them. it takes real U.S.A. backbone to answer the call. i can never forgive the red party for bashing john kerry's war record when bush2 and cheney dodged war as best they could. it is horrible to bash a war vet. i wish u would not do that.
