Just because 5 lakes aren't being affected it disproves the whole thing? Come on now. Go read some actual studies and exam the tons of scientific data out there that proves global warming isn't a myth, make sure it's a credible source also and not some nutjob crazy conspiracy site. Science isn't a liberal conspiracy.

"There is also some shipping of liquid and containerized cargo but most container ships cannot pass the locks on the Saint Lawrence Seaway because the ships are too wide. The total amount of shipping on the lakes has been on a downward trend for several years." Never let the facts get in the way of a progressive lie

The ozone hole over New Zealand is closing, but it may warm up Antarctica which could then affect the West Coast and Canterbury Plains, a university researcher says.

Dr Adrian McDonald, from Canterbury University's Physics and Astronomy department, was commenting after data released by the World Meteorological Organisation showed the ozone layer would recover between the years 2050 and 2100.

However, as a result of the ozone hole closing, Antarctica would probably become warmer, Dr McDonald said.

Not to mention the fact that NESTLE HAS A WATER BOTTLING PLANT RIGHT NEXT TO THE GREAT LAKES!!! Watch the episode of Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura that explains what's going on with the great lakes. Whoever wrote this should be fired for not doing research. Do they have 3rd graders writing this stuff or what? My little cousin could find more information on this topic than they did and he's 12.

A glacier in Alaska has receded 65 miles since 1911. If you listen to the weather channel, you will hear of record lows in the 30's for this time of year back during the early teens and twenties of the twentieth century. Glaciers in Glacier National Park are half the size they were in the 1930's.

The earth has warmed and greened the past 100 years and the increase in CO2 concentration in the atmosphere has increased approximately 50 ppm. CO2 is used to increase plant growth in greenhouses. CO2 'juicing' is done in all kinds of greenhouse growing. It works, you will have bigger tomatoes and more of them.

The earth does warm and cool, it is cyclic. We once were covered with ice where North Dakota is now, then it melted and all of that water emptied into the Atlantic Ocean and changed the salt concentration of the ocean water and the gulf stream waters changed course. It happens every 15,000 years or so and it never stops. Climate change is the norm.

Scary. Run and hide.
