Amazed by Minot skate park

Minot
I would like to “thank” taxpayers of Minot and Minot Park District for the “skate park” at Roosevelt Park.
I have spent a lot of time there this summer with my great-grandson, Kane House, who is 7 years old. I am amazed at the number of young people who utilize this facility. Those young people are from Minot, MAFB, and other towns and cities in ND.
My great-grandson has learned a lot from teenagers and older skateboarders, who take time to teach and help younger skateboarders. This is a positive and helpful group who look out for each other and the safety of younger boarders.
This is a very physical sport, that takes a lot of practice and concentration. Skateboarding is a great exercise for all involved. It’s amazing how many talented athletes we have in this sport.
Thanks again. This is a very entertaining sport to watch.
