Thank you Minot

The Ice Cold Ryders would like to thank each and every person that came out to participate and help with our annual Pics4Kids at Oak Park in Minot. A very special thank you to the following clubs for their continued support; Christian Motorcycle Association, Wheels of Faith and New Horizon MC. Without you, Pics4Kids would not be the same! A few more “thank yous’ to Morelli’s /Granite Springs for donating all the ice, Pepsi Co. for all the beverages, Paradise Spas and Motorsports for donating the 125cc Pit Bike, and Pizza Ranch for the free buffet vouchers.

This year was a record year for us. We tallied 956 adults and 585 kids attended (that we gave tickets to) in the span of six hours. We gave away 585 toys. That is 100% of toys given away as promised. Lastly, we gave away $2,000 worth of food. We even had some left over. This just means for next year’s Pics4Kids, we will be even bigger and better, so be there.

Last Saturday was a day for our club to give back to this great community and show what we are all about. It’s about love of our city and our neighbors. Our definition of community service is the service that a person performs for the benefit of his or her local community. We learn to step outside of our familiar environments and expand our horizons. We strengthen our senses of civic engagement and nationalism. It also is a time for us to broaden our educational, developmental and social goals. Whether it is showing a child the meaning of appreciation by a kind act or to show an adult there is more to someone than a stigma… We all learn and grow from these acts of kindness and charity. We want to do this to show the families, the kids and out-of-towners what a great place Minot can be when we all come together for a good time.

Next up: Ice Cold Christmas in December. Look us up, come hang out with us and be part of the change. See you there, Minot!
