Color Dash was a success

Natasha Christianson, Minot

Give360, a giving circle within the Minot Area Community Foundation, recently held The Color Dash 5k at Roosevelt Park in Minot. Participants who came out for the dash experienced running/walking through colorful powder clouds at each kilometer, pre-race music, a crazy hair booth, costume contests, food vendors and a color explosion finale. This colorful, fun mess helped the Give360 organization raise close to $13,000 toward the planning of a local children’s museum.

Along with the many paid registrants, Give360 could not have done this without the tremendous support from many area businesses.

Also, thank you to the Minot Park District for allowing us to host The Color Dash 5k at the Roosevelt Park and for all the hard work its staff has done to bring the park back to immaculate condition after the flood of 2011.
