James Shackelford, Burlington

A quick review of the news can convince us that all is not well in the world. But that is not the whole story. There is much good in life and much of that remains in North Dakota. I was privileged to spend 25 plus years in North Dakota serving a wonderful congregation in Burlington, Grace Fellowship. And in the course of time found myself welcomed and a part of Peace Lutheran as well.

I am now in transition to a new location but Burlington and North Dakota will always be our home. The good that remains in life is found all around us in people like those who welcomed me into their lives. I can only give thanks that God allowed me the privilege to live and have ministry in the Minot area. Blessings to all as the area grows and changes and continue practicing being good neighbors.
