All of his patients should know by now that Dr. Charles Swenson is retiring in June. This is causing much anxiety, nervousness and frustration concerning who his replacement will be and if he/she will be as competent, thorough, caring and as warm as he. After working very hard each day, he would still take the time to return patients’ calls even as late as 8:30 p.m. to answer their questions and concerns. Every weekend he would visit his patients at Trinity Nursing Home, and he would remember all their names. Patients looked forward to seeing him.

It is heartbreaking to see him leave even though we understand that he deserves more time with his family after working so hard and long. We appreciate his dedication and his caring. We will miss him greatly. We wish him well in his well-deserved retirement.
