What an exciting and climatic finish for the Minot Bishop Ryan Lions girls basketball term at the Class B Girls Tournament held at the Fargo Dome with an impressive undefeated season record of 27 0! Congratulations.

We had the privilege of being the team hosts for this 2013 N.D. championship team. As team hosts, we had the pleasure of being first-hand observers of the team and coaches. We observed good sportsmanship and courtesy by the team during the games, at the restaurants and while we were with the team. The restaurants commented that it was a pleasure to serve such courteous and mature young women. We also wish to recognize the outstanding support of the parents, grandparents, and wonderful fans.

Bishop Ryan can be proud to win the 2013 State Class B Girls Championship. Bishop Ryan High School and the city of Minot can be proud of this basketball team, coach Julie Stewart, assistant coaches Heather Lizotte, Cody Mueller and April Nakatani, Athletic Director Bryan Kramer, Father Jayden Nelson, and cheerleaders. Also, the team trainers, statisticians and school administration and bus driver Tom Rovig.
