Leave village where it is

I am writing this letter in regard to the Pioneer Village at the State Fairgrounds.
I served the people of Ward County for almost 30 years as deputy Ward County auditor and secretary of the County Park Board and secretary of the County Planning Commission.
I believe somewhere there is a record of a transaction between the County Park Board, the Fair Board and the county commissioners.
If nothing else, shouldn’t the Pioneer Village be grandfathered into the Fairgrounds by now?
I’m not a very smart man as many people will attest, but I feel the Village is a real asset to the Fair and to Minot.
Why fix something that isn’t broken?
