Reilley Bounds
Sept. 7, 1996-Oct. 18, 2021
Airman First Class Reil-
ley Scott Bounds was
born to Michelle Bounds
on September 7, 1996 in
Orange, California. He
was a beloved son, grand-
son, brother, nephew,
cousin, friend and Wing-
man.
Reilley was always in-
terested in serving and
helping others even at a
young age. At age 13, Reil-
ley was interested in
maybe becoming a Fire-
fighter, so he joined the
Fire explorer program,
and was very involved for
5 ¢ years until he aged
out at age 21. Most people
don’t know that Reilley
was a certified and
licensed EMT even before
he graduated high school.
Shortly after his EMT cer-
tification, he realized he
didn’t want to do that for
his career. Next came the
Air Force.
Reilley enlisted in the
Air Force branch of ser-
vice in June 2019, and en-
tered his basic training in
San Antonio, Texas. Reil-
ley was such an outgoing
guy. He was always get-
ting in trouble in BMT
(Basic Military Training)
for talking, laughing and
smiling. He said it was so
hard for him not to smile.
That was ReilleyÃ-so fun,
optimistic and full of life.
He loved hard and cher-
ished the many friend-
ships he had made along
his journey to becoming
an Airman.
Fun fact: Reilley’s nick-
name was “plant daddy’.
He loved taking care of
his plants and had a green
thumb that most of us
would envy. He also loved
cooking and could make a
mean Potato Leek soup.
He was very domestic and
loved that he was a home-
body. His favorite time is
when he was playing
video games with his
cousin Mason, brother
Rex and fellow Airmen.
Our wonderful Reilley
passed away On Monday
