Feb. 10, 1956-Oct. 12, 2021

Gale Carow, 65, Bur-

lington, died Tuesday,

October 12, 2021, in a

Minot hospital.

Gale was born February

10, 1956, in Minot, ND to

(Bechtle) Vetter. She at-

tended Bishop Ryan High

School in Minot and gra-

duated with the class of

1974. She attended col-

lege at Minot State

University.

Gale joined the working

world as an associate of

Sears Roebuck after col-

lege. She advanced her

career through sales to

management over her 30

years with the company.

Gale spent the last 15

years of her working

career as a billing clerk for

Keycare Pharmacy in

Minot. She retired on Au-

gust 1, 2021.

Gale was united in mar-

riage to Alvin ‘Butch’

Carow on July 9, 1994, in

Minot. This union was

blessed with two

daughters, Mikki and

Melissa. They made their

home in Burlington. Gale

assisted her husband with

the operation of Carow

trucking for many years.

Butch passed away on

They valued the time

spent at their lake place

near Riverdale taking

countless evening sunset

rides in their red converti-

ble around Lake Saka-

kawea and the Missouri

River. Weekends were

often spent at craft shows

or annual church bazaars.

Gale deeply valued the

years spent with her fami-

ly. Cooking classes with

her daughter, a crossword

filled her personal time

but all took a backseat to

her grandchildren, who

she loved so deeply. She
