David John Fuchs, 76,
of Garrison, ND, passed
away on September 12,
2021 surrounded by his
loving family and devoted
friends. He was born in
Minot, ND at St. Joseph’s
Hospital on November 5,
1944 to Florian and Loret-
ta (Mullen) Fuchs. David
was one of six children
raised on the family farm
in Renville County and he
graduated from Carpio
High School in 1962. In
March 1962, David along
with the senior boys
skipped school and joined
the 468th Engineer Bat-
talion, where he served in
the Army Reserves for 21
years and retired as a Ser-
geant first class.
David met the love of
his life, Lynette Domer, at
a Halloween party and the
rest was history. He knew
they were meant to be to-
gether for the rest of his
life. The two were mar-
ried on June 4, 1976 and
celebrated their 45th wed-
ding anniversary earlier
this year. David found his
true calling “Selling Cars”
He worked for Westlie’s
Motor Company for many
years as the Used Car
Sales Manager before
owning & operating his
own business (1994),
Auto CrosXing in Minot,
ND for 15 yrs. If you
needed a car, David was
your man. Upon retiring
in 2009, David and
Lynette enjoyed traveling
and split their time
between Garrison, ND and
Mesa, AZ. David was a
fun-loving man who never
met a stranger he couldn’t
reminisce about the good
old days with. However,
nothing gave David more
pride and joy than being a
devoted family man.

and loving wife “Sweetie’,
