Greta Teets, age 78, of

West Fargo, formerly

Minot, ND. died Tuesday,

June 15, 2021 at New Per-

spectives Senior Living,

West Fargo.

Greta Gay Teets was

born July 23, 1942, in

Minot, daughter of Stuart

and Kathryn (Kalbfleisch)

Uleberg. She lived in

Minot throughout all her

childhood years and gra-

duated from Minot High

School. After high school

she attended college at

Minot State University

where she earned a secre-

tarial degree. She married

David Teets on April 19,

1963, and they lived in

Minot where their only

son, Trent, was born.

Greta worked as an ad-

ministrative assistant

throughout her whole life,

first at the Model School

in Minot, then in her

husband’s business at

Rugbee Air Care, and fi-

nally Pierce County Clerk

of Courts, Porter Bros,

Senske and Son, and

Liechty Mobile Homes be-

fore she retired. After re-

tirement she and Dave

moved to West Fargo to be

next to their son and his

family. After Dave’s death

and the arrival of the pan-

demic she was grateful to

have her family from New

Perspectives there to al-

ways provide comfort and

much happiness.

Greta loved to care for

her flowers and always

kept a meticulous lawn.

She would spend hours

watching the birds come

in and out of the many

bird feeders outside her

living room window. She

would spend her sum-

mers packing up her dogs

Snowball and Nugget and

heading for her camp-

ground at the Garrison

Boat and Barge Club and

other locations along Lake

Sakakawea. She spent

hours gathering and or-

ganizing her coupons and

could spot a good deal

anywhere. She also loved

to manage her collections

of dolls, birdhouses, Fur-

bys and solar powered

dancing figurines.

She is survived by: her

son Trent (JoAnn),

grandchildren Brandon

(Miranda), Benjamin (Kel-

sey), and Bethany. Great-

grandchildren, Easton and

Charlie; her brother Tom

Uleberg.

Greta was preceded

death by: her parents and

her husband, David.

A Private Graveside

Service will be held at

Rosehill Cemetery, Minot,

at a later date.
