Nancy Jo Parker, 66,

lifelong resident of Minot

entered eternal life on

Sunday, May 9, 2021 in a

Minot Hospital.

Nancy was born March

12, 1955 in Minot, North

Dakota the daughter of

Marvin and Fern (Irwin)

DeGree. She was raised

and educated in Minot

and graduated from Minot

High in 1973. During her

younger years, Nancy was

employed at Bonanza and

Radio Shack in Grand

Forks. She was once mar-

ried to James Grueneberg

and from this union three

children were born,

Melissa, Michelle and

Michael. During these ear-

ly years she helped run

their family business,

Jim’s High Tech Auto.

Nancy met Reginald

“Reg” Parker at Clear

Lake, Manitoba. They

were later united in mar-

riage on September 6,

2008 and made their

home in Minot to be near

their family. Her family

was her primary focus

throughout the years. She

loved hosting holidays

and family gatherings.

She enjoyed camping at

Fort Stevenson and

spending “lake time” at

Rice Lake. Her grandchil-

dren were the bright stars

in her universe and al-

ways made special time

for phone calls or one on

one Grandma Visits.

As her mother grew

older she enjoyed spend-

ing time assisting with her

care while in assisted liv-

ing. She was known for

her big smile and heart

full of love. She quickly

became a friend to all who

met her.

Nancy was once a

member of the Church of

God of Prophecy and

currently belonged to the

Lighthouse Church fel-

lowship in Minot.

Her loving family in-

cludes, husband, Reg

Parker, Minot; children,

Deventer, Minot, Michelle

(Michael) Harnist, Minot

and Michael (Laura)

Grueneberg, Parkersburg,

WV; grandchildren, Car-

Ashley Freed, Jack De-

Gree, Eddie DeGree and

numerous cousins; step

children David Parker and

Allison Parker.

Nancy was preceded in

death by her parents,

Marvin and Fern DeGree

and son in law, Shawn

Arnold.

Minot Church of God,

Minot, ND.

Interment: Rosehill

Memorial Park, Minot

Visitation: Thursday,

May 13th from 4:00-6:00

p.m. in Thomas Family
