Leonard L. “Larry” Ea-

ton, 83, Bismarck, former-ly of Fessenden passed

away on Wednesday, May

12, 2021 at his home.

Funeral Services will be

at 1:00 p.m., Monday,

May 17, 2021 at Nelson

Funeral Home, Fessenden

with Pastor Shirley Teske

officiating. Burial will be

at the North Dakota

Veterans Cemetery, Man-

dan, on Tuesday, May 18,

2021 at 2:00 p.m. Visita-

tion will be from 11:00

a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the fun-

eral home on Monday.

Larry was born July 19,

1937 in Kenmare, ND, the

son of Leonard E. and

Florence (Blom) Eaton. He

grew up in Conrad, MT,

Larson, Minot, and Drake,

ND. He was activated in

the National Guard in

1961 and was stationed at

Fort Riley, KS for a year.

Larry attended business

college and worked as a

banker for over 40 years,

most of that time with

First International Bank

and Trust in Fessenden.

He married Carol Ann

Hecker on November 10,

1968 in Minot. They made

their home in Fessenden

until 2011 when they

moved to Bismarck to be

closer to family. He liked

giving people a hard time

and had some good

humor! Larry was a great

father to his son Brady

and daughter Sara, and he

will be missed.

Larry is survived by his

wife, Carol, Bismarck; son

Brady, Minot; and

daughter, Sara (Jim)

Vetter, Bismarck; and

many grandchildren and

great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in

death by his parents, and

his first wife Donna.
