Town, ND, was called

home on April 1, 2021.

Roger was born on July

26, 1949 in Elbowoods,

ND the son of John and

Jennie (Smith) Hunts

Along. Roger was a

member of the Waterbus-

ter Clan and a child of the

Knife Clan. He was also a

member of the Antelope

Society. Roger proudly

served as a Vietnam Army

Veteran in the 101st Air-

borne and Artillery.

Roger is survived by his

wife, Betty Hunts Along of

Rock Point, AZ; children,

Roger Young (Wendy) of

Dunseith, ND, Mark

Hunts Along of New

Town, ND, Jennifer Hunts

Along Begay (Roland) and

Margaret Hunts Along,

both of West Jordan, UT,

and Michael Hunts Along

of Gilbert, AZ;

step-daughter, Winifred

Begay and Sharon Begay

both of Gilbert, AZ; broth-

er, Russell Hunts Along

(Cindy) of Salt Lake City,

UT; many grandchildren

and great-grandchildren,

and numerous nieces and

nephews.
