beth (Hall) Whalen.

She attended school in

Towner, ND and went on

to work as a cook and bak-

er in the restaurant indus-

try for the greater portion

of her life. She spent a

number of years in Up-

ham, ND where, in addi-

tion to raising her family,

Lovilla served as a dedi-

cated member of the Up-

ham Volunteer Ambu-

lance Squad.

In 1996, she left Upham

to begin a new life in

LeSueur, MN, and in

2016, moved one last time

closer to her daughter,

dren.

worker with a fun-loving

nature, who enjoyed gar-

dening and tending to her

flowers in her free time.

She had a green thumb

like no other, which was

she and Mike were award-

ed Yard of the Week for

their stunning floral and

artistic display. Lovilla

especially loved being sil-

ly with her grandchildren

and spending time with

her family. She had a lov-

ing heart, a gentle soul,

and an infectious laugh

that would earn her the

nickname, “Gramma

Gigglebox.”

Lovilla went to meet the

Lord on Friday, January 1,
