2020 at Trinity Health in
Minot. A private funeral
will be held Wednesday,
December 23 at 10:30
A.M. at St. Francis-Xavier
Catholic Church in
Anamoose with burial to
follow in the church
cemetery. This service
will be live streamed on

will be held Tuesday from
5:00 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the
church, followed by a
private prayer service.

Gloria Jean Rudnick,
daughter of Frank and Isa-
belle (Bruner) Rudnick,
was born August 9, 1942
in Harvey. The lived on a
farmstead north of
Anamoose until she was
5, when they moved to a
farm south of Anamoose.
Gloria attended
Anamoose Public School,
graduating in 1960. She
then attended Christy’s
School of Cosmetology in
Bismarck and worked in
Jamestown and New
Rockford as a hair beauti-
cian.
On October 7, 1963 she
married the love of her
life, William Engen, and
resided on the Engen fam-
ily farm south of
Anamoose. She helped
with field work, had dairy
and beef cattle and almost
every other farm animal at
one time or another. She
was also a Senior Com-
panion in and around the
Anamoose area for 15
years.
Gloria was a lifelong
member of St. Francis Xa-
vier Catholic Church in
Anamoose and a former
CCD teacher.
Gloria was always busy
cooking and baking
goodies. She enjoyed
fishing with her family,
gardening and travelling
to see family and friends.
She especially loved visits
from her kids, grandkids,
nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her
husband of 57 years, Wil-
liam; 2 sons, Rick (Renae)
of Fargo, Mark (Corinne)
of Anamoose; 2 daughters,
Marsha (Asbjorn) Haram
of Bergen, Norway and
Nancy of Harvey; 11
grandchildren, Phillip,
Nathan, Kaya, Ryan, Sean,
Adrian, Patrick,
Amanda(Adrian Lies), Jes-
sica (Daniel Wentz), Ni-
cholas and Andrew; 5
great-grandchildren,
Wyatt, Kristopher, So-
phia, Isabella and Theo; 3
sisters, Clara Ann (Don)
Mayer of Anamoose,
Judy(Jim) Boley of Minot
and Cindy Rudnick
(friend Dan Henes) of
Minot; and sister-in-law,
Roberta Rudnick (friend,
Chuck Leier) of Velva.
Gloria was preceded in
death by her parents; 2
brothers, LeRoy and
Robert; sister, Faith (Bun-
ny) Podolski; and grand-
daughter, Brittany Engen.
