Robert B. Grosz, 81,

Minot, ND, passed away

November 10, 2020, in his

home in Minot, ND.

Robert “Bobby” Grosz

was born June 10, 1939,

the son of Christ and Sophie (Ziegler) Grosz, in

Kief, ND. He attended

school in Kief, ND.

He married the love of

his life, Marilyn J.

Erdmann, on June 18,

1961, at Turtle Lake Lutheran Church, Turtle Lake,

ND. Following their marriage, they moved to

Minot, ND, in 1962.

He worked for Sherwood Construction until

1964 when he went to

work for Bridgeman

Creamery for 26 year until

he retired. After retirement, he decided to drive

truck for Porter Brothers

and then for Schatz

Truckstop.

Bobby enjoyed meeting

his coffee buddies every

morning at the Truckstop,

working out every day at

the YMCA, and a fan of

Nascar racing.

He was such a kind person to anyone he met and

loved to socialize with

everyone. His most cherished moments were

spent with his best friend

and granddaughter, Kayla,

and couldn’t get enough

of her or his great grandsons (Bryson and Konnor), they were his happy

place and kept him young

at heart.

He was a member of

Bread of Life Church,

Minot, ND, and looked

forward to services every

Saturday.

His loving family includes: son and daughterin-law, Wade and Donna

Grosz, Minot; granddaughter, Kayla Grosz

(Jason Thurlo), Minot;

g r e a t- g r and chil d r en,

Bryson Lee Thurlo and

Konnor Wade Thurlo; and

numerous nieces and

nephews.

Robert was preceded in

death by his wife,

Marilyn; son, Jeff; parents,

Christ and Sophie; brothers, Arthur (Darlene),

Emil (Irene), Edward

(Sharon), and Alvin

(Helen) Grosz; sisters,

Annie (Ken) Gerle, Alvina

(Oscar) Hansen, Agnes

(Harry) VanCamp, and

Ella (Raymond) Rau.

The Grosz family would

like to thank everyone for

the many prayers and

support through this difficult time. A special thank

you to The View for their

compassion and wonderful care to Bob while a

resident there.

Private Family Funeral

Service by invitation will

be held Monday, November 16, 2020, at 11:00

am at Bread of Life Lutheran Church in Minot.

The family encourages

those attending to wear

masks and social distance.

Interment: Rosehill

Memorial Park, Minot,

ND.

Visitation: A Private

Family viewing took place

at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Memorials: In lieu of

flowers memorials are

preferred to YMCA of

Minot or to Bread of Life

Lutheran Church.
