Milton Gulbranson, 82,

Minot died peacefully on

Friday, November 6, 2020

at his home with his lov-

ing family by his side.

Milton Duane “Milt”

Gulbranson was born on

August 23, 1938 in

Eveleth, MN to Theodore

and Louise (Maki)

Gulbranson. He was

raised and educated in

Eveleth and Minot where

the family moved during

the mid 1940’s. As a

teenager he began work-

ing with his father and

brothers as a sheetmetal

worker doing furnace

work. Milton entered the

U.S. Army on October 12,

1961 and received his

honorable discharge on

September 30, 1963.

Milton married JoAnn

Keyes on May 12, 1978 in

Minot. They made their

home in Minot where he

continued his career as a

sheet metal worker at the

Minot Air Force Base and

the Coal Creek Power

Plant. He retired in 1992.

Milt was a member of

the Sheet Metal Workers

Union Local #10 and the

Veterans of Foreign Wars

Post #753. He especially

enjoyed tinkering on his

cars, western movies,

cruising on his Harley,

fishing and hunting. He

filled his moose tag in

2019.

Milt’s loving family in-

cludes his wife of 43

years: JoAnn; children:

Douglas Gulbranson and

Michael Gubranson both

of Michigan, Duane

Gulbranson of California,

Russell Bragg of Minneap-

olis, Tammy Bliujus,

Michael Bragg and

Natasha (George) Wild all

of Minot and Troy

(Christi) Bragg of Velva;

nine grandchildren; ten

great grandchildren;

brothers: Gerald

Gulbranson and Ronald

(Ann) Gulbranson all of

Minot and several nieces,

nephews and cousins.

Milt was preceded in

death by his parents and

siblings: Norman, Billy,

James and Leatrice.

Celebration of the Life

of Milton Gulbranson:

Saturday, November 14,

2020 from 2:00 p.m. to

4:00 p.m. in the Veterans

of Foreign Wars Post 753

Club at 1100 31st Street

S.E. Minot. Military

Honors will be provided

at 3:00 p.m. by the North

Dakota Army National

Guard and Minot Ameri-

can Legion Post #26.

Interment will be in the

North Dakota Veterans

Cemetery – rural Mandan

in the Spring of 2021.
