Allan Lowell Lindell,
83, Minot, formerly of
Park River, ND, passed
away on Wednesday, No-
vember 11, 2020, at a
Minot nursing home.
Allan was born May 26,
1937, the son of K. O.
Hamilton “Hammy” and
Selma (Johnson) Lindell
on the family farm in Ves-
ta Township, Walsh
County, North Dakota. He
was raised and educated
in the Park River area and
Bemidji, MN. Allan gra-
duated from Bemidji High
School in 1956. On Janu-
ary 23, 1959, Allan was
united in marriage to Orla
Torgrimson. He joined the
United States Air Force in
1956 and retired from the
service in 1978. He has
resided in Minot ever
since.
Allan is survived by:
his wife, Orla; brothers,
Charles Lindell, Park
River, ND, and Neil (Kay)
Lindell, Grand Forks, ND;
sisters, Joyce (Lloyd)
Johnson, Grafton, and
Linda (Jack) Gillespie,
Park River; and several
nieces and nephews.
Allan was preceded in
death by: his parents;
stepfather, Art Bode; sis-
ters and brothers-in-law,
Carol (Gib) Wang and Bet-
ty (Andy) Flaten;
sister-in-law, Shirley Lin-
dell; 5 nephews; and
several aunts, uncles, and
cousins
A private family grave-
side service will be held
later in the spring of 2021
at Rosehill Memorial Park
in Minot. Memorial can
be sent either to the Park
River Bible Camp, 106
Solid Rock Circle, Park
River, ND 58720, or St.
Peter’s Church Cemetery
