Reed Parizek

May 28, 1996-Sept. 26, 2020

Reed Parizek, 24,

Minot, ND, passed away

Saturday, September 26,

2020, in Minot.

Reed Richard Parizek

made a grand entrance

May 28, 1996, into this

world weighing 11 lbs. 2

oz. and 22″ long. Tears

came down from heaven

the day he left us.

He attended Bell

School, Jim Hill, Central

Campus, and graduated

from Magic City Campus

in 2014. During his school

days, he played the saxo-

phone and was in the

marching band, played

baseball, basketball,

soccer, and football.

He was employed by

North Plains Construction

as the go to guy and a

very hard, dependable

worker. He was so proud

to be alongside of his dad,

building his sister’s house

as well as his brothers’

landscaping projects and

addition.

Reed traveled so many

places with his family,

touring all fifty states with

trips to Mexico and Cana-

da as well. He loved

spending time at the lake

with his family and

friends. He enjoyed hunt-

ing and fishing with his

dad and brother.

Reed was so proud of

his family and his bright

red hair. When he was

younger, he insisted his

hair was orange. He was

such a joy to our family,

being a kind, beautiful,

gentle, sweet soul, and oh

so loving. With an infec-

tious smile, his laugh was

always contagious. Giving

the best hugs, he had a

genuine heart of gold.

Reed was always on point

with the jokes and full of

life. During his short time

with us, he touched so

many lives and was an

amazing uncle.

Reed will be in our

hearts forever and tears

will be shed every day for

the rest of our lives – he

will never be forgotten.

His loving family in-

cludes: mother and father,

Shirley and Randy Par-

izek, Minot; brother, Chris

(Sarah) Fast, Minot; sis-

ters, Katie (Chris) Brekke,

Minot, and Shawna

(Chris) Grossman, Minot;

nephews, Lincoln Fast,

Magnus and Bjorn Brekke,

Luke and Cullen Gross-

man; nieces, Kennedy

Fast, Caitlyn and Natalie

Bertsch; and several lov-

ing aunts, uncles, cousins,

and friends.
