Glendon Dove, 88,

Minot, died Friday, July

31, 2020, in a Minot hos-

pital. Glendon William

Dove was born on April 4,

1932, to Wade and Nettie

(Halterman) Dove near

Mathias, West Virginia.

He was raised and educat-ed in Virginia and West

Virginia. Upon graduating

from high school, Glen

enlisted in the United

States Air Force, where he

served as a security officer

and retired after 24 years

of dedicated service. Glen

later worked for Com-

munity Action and Manor

Care Health Systems.

While in the service, he

was united in marriage to

Phyllis Baker on January

20, 1958. They made their

home in several locations

as a result of his military

career. Phyllis passed

away on April 22, 1991.

On January 21, 1995, Glen

was united in marriage to

Esther Coffin. They made

their home in Minot. Esth-

er passed away on De-

cember 22, 2017.

He is survived by: chil-

dren: Larry (Dawn) Dove,

Donna Wiese, Susan

(Mike) Bozine and Ga-

brielle Dove; daughter-

in-law, Jan Dove; step-

children, Natalie (Kevin)

Ploof, Charissa (Mike)

Hamm, Stefanie (John)

Ridout; numerous grand-

children, great-grand-

children, step grandchil-

dren and step great-

grandchildren; nieces,

nephews and cousins also

survive.

Glen was preceded in

death by his parents, wife

Phyllis, wife Esther, sons

Richard and Dennis,

son-in-law Bruce Wiese.

Visitation: Wednesday,

August 5, 2020, from 3-5

pm at Thompson-Larson

Funeral Home, Minot. We

will be observing Co-

vid-19 guidelines.

Liturgy of the Word

Service: Thursday, Au-

gust 6, 2020, at 10:30 am

at Our Lady of Grace

Catholic Church, Minot.

The service will be
