Daniel James Brown

Dan (Tubb) Brown, 66,

Seatac, Washington, form-

erly of Berthold ND, died

Tuesday, April 14, 2020,

in his home after a short

fight with cancer.

Dan was born the sixth

child of Ralph W. and

Marlayne (Porter) Brown

in Minot, ND. Dan was

raised and educated in

Berthold, N.D., and gra-

duated from BHS in 1972.

Dan enlisted in the Army

and he served from

1973-1976 as a Para-

trooper in the 82nd Air-

borne Division in Ft.

Bragg, North Carolina.

Dan was in the tire

business for many years,

was a machinist at Boeing

in WA and was an avid

sports fan. He retired in

2015 and was enjoying re-

tirement in a 55+ com-

munity.

Dan is survived by his

daughter, Nicole (Dave)

Cecil and their three

daughters of Colorado

amd his son, Lance Brown

of ND and his son. Dan is

also survived by brothers,

sisters, nieces, nephews,

cousins and good friends.

Memorial Service: Fri-

day, Aug. 7, at 11 a.m. at

St. Ann’s Catholic Church

in Berthold, ND. Due to

Covid-19, no lunch will

be served at the church.

Graveside Service: Fri-

day, Aug. 7, at 2 p.m. at

Rosehill Cemetery in

Minot, ND.

Celebration of Life: Fri-

day, Aug. 7, at 4 p.m. at

Blaisdell Town Hall in

Blaisdell, ND. Food will

be served.
