Sheila Locken, 64,
Minot, passed away on
Tuesday, June 30, 2020 in
a Bismarck hospital.
Sheila Ann Bachmeier
was born on March 15,
1956, a daughter of Peter
and Florence (Schmitt)
Bachmeier in Minot, ND.
She was raised and edu-
cated in Minot, where she
attended Little Flower
Catholic School and gra-
duated from Minot High
School in 1974. Following
graduation, she married,
and the couple had two
sons. Douglas was born
while living in North
Carolina and Sean, was
born when the family re-
turned to Minot. The cou-
ple later divorced.
On July 25, 2003, Sheila
was united in marriage to
Kenneth Locken in
Minot., They made their
home in Minot, where
Sheila worked for Minot
Public Schools as a bus
driver and later Souris
Basin Transport, where
she was a driver and later
worked in the adminis-
trative office.
She enjoyed playing,
and later watching soft-
ball, throwing darts, and
had an interest in watch-
ing hummingbirds she fed
that returned each year.
Sheila could often be
found outside doing yard-
work, gardening, spend-
ing time around the pool,
camping, and most re-
cently working her Chalk
Couture projects. Her big-
gest passion was her
grandchildren. She was a
loving wife, mother,
grandmother, sister and
friend and will be missed
by all that knew her.
Sheila is survived by:
Husband of 17 years,
Kenny; sons: Douglas
(Marcie) Jones, Sean (Jam-
ie) Jones; grandchildren:
Casey, Christopher, Cam-
ryn, Chase, Austin and
Ali; Siblings: Fran Milten-berger, Bob (Renee)
Bachmeier, Mark (Susan)
Bachmeier, JoAnn
(Richard) Baker;
Step-children: Michael
(Miranda) Locken, Heidi
Jenish; step- grandchil-
dren: Carson, Chase,
Korey, Alaina, McKenna
and Jasmine; several
nieces, nephews and
cousins also survive.
Sheila was preceded in
death by her parents, si-
blings: Paulette Ruby,
Clyde Miltenberger,
Wayne Miltenberger, and
Helen Woiwode.

July 7, 2020 from 4 until 6
pm at Thompson-Larson
Funeral Home, Minot,
with a family vigil at 6 pm
in Thompson-Larson Fun-
eral Home Chapel, Minot.
