Georgetta E. Bakke

passed away peacefully

on July 2, 2020.

Georgetta Ellen Feeney

was born in Crosby, ND,

on February 22, 1934, to

Thomas and Marie

(Poirier) Feeney. She gra-

duated from Crosby High

School.

She married Carl Ed-

ward Bakke in 1954. They

had three children Tho-

mas, Steve and Kristie.

Carl (Eddie) passed away

in 1983. In 1985 Georgetta

married Andrew Bakke.

Georgetta worked from

an early age at various

jobs. By far her favorite

was in the catalogue

department at Sears in

Minot. She had a wonder-ful telephone voice and

enjoyed helping people

through the Sears catalo-

gue. Georgetta loved to

dance, ride on the motor-

cycle, travel, playing

cards and cooking. She

enjoyed having coffee and

visiting with her best

friends Vi and Madeline.

She was a wonderful

mother, grandmother,

spouse and sister.

Georgetta is survived

by: her spouse, Andy,

sons, Tom (Deb), Grand

Forks; Steve (Debbie),

Minot; daughter, Kristie

(Padu) Krishnan, Brook-

ings, SD; Step sons Mark

(Sandy) Bakke, Arnegard

ND, Terry Bakke, Congers,

NY, Neil (Amy) Bakke,

New Richmond, WI; sis-

ter, Barbara (Larry) Chap-

man, Denver; nine

grandchildren, Laura

Bakke, Ryan (Sarah)

Bakke, Tyler Bakke, Anne

(Tom) O’Malley, Courtney

Krishnan, Matthew Krish-

nan, Emma Bakke, Greta

Bakke and Mia Bakke;

three great-grandchildren

Harper, Georgia and Pal-

mer Bakke; and many

nieces and nephews.

Georgetta is preceded

in death by: her parents,

father and mother-in-law,

sister, Margaret Bakke,

brother, Bob Feeney,

step-son Dirk Bakke,

several aunts, uncles and

brother and

sister-in-law’s.

There will be a private

family service.

In lieu of flowers,

memorials may be given

to a charity of the donor’s

choice.
