Minot, ND, formerly of

Bakersfield, CA, passed

away Monday, May 25,

2020, at Trinity Hospital

in Minot.

Modesto “Moe” Rodri-

guez was born July 16,

1984, the son of Raquel

(Sosa) Rodriguez and

Cipriano Mireles in Bak-

ersfield, CA. He was

raised and educated in

Bakersfield, CA, and gra-

duated from Arvin High

School in 2002.

While living in Bakers-

field, he started working

with Baker Hughes in

2006.

Moe married Anna

Castellanos July 16, 2011,

in Bakersfield, CA. They

made their home there

until 2014, when they

moved to Minot. Mo

worked various jobs until

beginning employment

with Cameron Surface

Systems in 2018. He loved

his job.

He was a member of

Our Lady of Grace Cathol-

ic Church in Minot. Mo

and Anna taught

catechism and were in-

structors together. They

were also both youth

leaders.

He enjoyed playing

poker, softball, billiards,

watching and quoting

movies. But his greatest

enjoyment was making

others laugh and bragging

about himself.

His loving family in-

cludes: wife, Anna,

Minot; children, Elijah (6)

and Camila (2), at home;

mother and father, Raquel

and Cipriano Mireles,

Minot, ND; brother, Cip

Mireles, Jr., Lamont, CA;

sisters, Michelle Nunez

(Chris Brooks), Lamont,

CA, Rosa (Ibrain) Chavez,

Minot, ND, and Katie Ro-

driguez, Minot, ND;

mother-in-law and

father-in-law, Lucy and

Juan Castellanos, Minot,

ND; and numerous nieces,

nephews and cousins.

Moe was preceded in

death by his children,

Melanie Hope and Chris-

tian Manning; and mater-

nal and paternal

grandparents.

Celebrating the Life of

A Private Family Mass

of Christian Burial by in-

vitation will be held

Thursday, June 4, 2020, at

11:00 am at Our Lady of

Grace Catholic Church in

Minot.

A Public Graveside Ser-

vice will be held on

Thursday, June 4, 2020, at

12:15 pm at Sunset

Memorial Gardens, Minot,

ND. Due to the Corona-

virus Pandemic, please

observe social distancing.

Visitation: A private

family viewing will take

place Wednesday at

Thompson-Larson Fun-

eral Home, Minot.
