Connie E. Rod, 37,
Minot, formerly of Louisi-
ana died Tuesday, May
26, 2020 at a Minot hospi-
tal.
Connie was born Sep-
tember 22, 1982 in Alex-
andria, LA the daughter of
Stephanie (Stevick) El-
lington and Samuel Ju-
vrud and her adoptive fa-
ther, Paul Ellington. She
was raised and educated
in Louisiana. She contin-
ued her studies at Park,
Norwich, and Southern
Methodist Universities
earning her Masters De-
gree in Public Adminis-
tration and a Masters in
Science of Counseling.
Connie devoted her life
to helping others in any
way she could, this is
seen in the most honor-
able of jobs she has held,
such as a LMFT-A, LCDC
at New Horizons Center
for healing, Substance
Abuse Counselor at Com-
munity Medical Services
and Jobs Corp and her
current job at the Dakota
Boys and Girls Ranch at
Burlington.
Connie enjoyed her
hobbies of crocheting,
camping, fishing, crab-
bing, hiking, biking, rid-
ing motorcycles, anything
outdoors, spending time
with family, especially on
game night.
Connie was a great
friend and co-worker, best
friend, awesome Mother
and an amazing Wife, so
loving and caring, these
words can never do her
justice. She touched the
lives of so many people in
so many ways. Connie
will be missed and
remembered, always.
Connie was united in
marriage to Erik Rod at
Minot on February 27,
2019.
Connie is survived by
her four daughters; Faith,
Bridget, Erika and Hailey,
her husband, Erik, broth-
er; Paul, sister; Cynthia,
half brother, Allen and
half sister; Lisa.
A Private Memorial
Service by family invita-
tion will be held at a later
date in Minot.
