Duane “Augie” Ostdahl

Duane “Augie” Ostdahl,

65, Minot, died Tuesday,

May 26, 2020 in a Minot

Hospital.

Duane was born April

3, 1955 at Minot, North

Dakota, the son of

Lawrence and Berniece

(Halvorson) Ostdahl. He

was raised and educated

in Minot and graduated

from Minot High School.

He was baptized and con-

firmed at Christ Lutheran

Church in Minot.

Augie moved to Florida

and Texas, where he was

employed in the construc

tion industry and framed

homes for several years.

He returned to Minot in

the late 1970’s, where he

worked for the family

business, Sebby’s Car-

petarea and was an ac-

complished installer. In

2008, he started Augie’s

Flooring and did count-

less installations

throughout the Minot area

until recently when he re-

tired due to ill health.

Augie was an avid

golfer, and enjoyed play-

ing with many of his bud-

dies at golf courses

throughout North Dakota.

One of his many golfing

accomplishments was get-

ting a hole in one on two

occasions. He had played

softball locally, along with

billiards and watching

Western movies. The

memories we made to-

gether will be cherished

forever in our hearts.

Augie’s loving family

Augie was preceded in

death by his parents.
