Sharon DesRoches, 77,
Minot, ND, passed away

Sharon was born No-
vember 1, 1942 in Nome,
North Dakota to Thorvold
and Eileen (Thorson) Vee.
She was raised in the
Enderlin area, graduating
from Enderlin High
School. After graduation,
she worked for a while
with her aunt, Mertz
Johanson, at her jewelry
shop.
On November 26, 1960,
she was united in mar-
riage to Ronald DesRoches
at St. John’s Catholic
Church in St. John, North
Dakota. In 1963, the

time before beginning a
journey that took them
through various towns in
Montana, North Dakota,
and South Dakota. They
finally settled down in

lived here ever since.
Sharon was a
well-rounded individual
who was always doing
something. She loved her
life as a housewife caring
for her husband and three
children. Sharon was an
excellent cook who prided
herself on her lefse and
Christmas cookies. She
also enjoyed canning,
sewing, quilting, and
crafts. Her family will al-
ways remember the tool
kit she kept under the
kitchen sink to fix various
things around the house.
When she was younger,
she enjoyed gardening
and was an excellent
bowler. Sharon also en-
joyed hunting, fishing and
playing cards.
Faith and friendship
were very important to
Sharon. She carried her
faith with her wherever
she went and was always
driving her friends wher-
ever they needed to go or
be there for you whenever
you needed. She was a
member of St. Leo the
Great Roman Catholic
Church Ladies Auxiliary
and the VFW.
Sharon is survived by

rinna) and Vern (Mar)
